Become a CredAble PA
We have worked with disabled people who use the services of a Personal Assistant (PA) or who are thinking of using a PA. Since PAs will be involved in offering a variety of services including everything from accompanying individuals on outings to intimate personal care it is absolutely essential that disabled people are the ones that shape the accreditation.
In order for us to build an effective accreditation framework we had disabled and older people tell us what a good PA looks like. We have had a series of consultation events and one to one interviews over the past few months and we have come up with criteria for becoming an accredited PA.
In order to become an accredited PA you will have to:
1. complete an application form
2. have suitable references
3. attend a full day induction session
